Aren't most eve ships fueled by antimatter? As a material that blows up spectacularly whenever it touches anything, I think that'd probably be much more difficult to produce on a planet than in space.

As far as improving the look of the spaceship part goes, the new turrets are being worked on at the moment. I would definitely vote for nicer ship damage and death being next in line though

Well you've got me there, I haven't got a clue what a cyclotron is. I always just assumd blasers in eve were the same as particle beams in real life, because they're functionally the same and the game seems to seek a realistic feel.

Blasters don't fire plasma, they fire a stream of subatomic particles. And I think they possibly already use electromagnets- particle beams are a real thing that exists but I'm not sure exactly how they work.

I agree. Also, the explosion effect is nice, but some of the bigger ships seem to explode much more gently than they should, espescially considering how much antimatter some of them are carrying.
